Video Library
Over 300 videos reside in SCWNE's Safety Video Library and cover a variety of
safety-related topics. Most safety video's are designed as short vignettes, ranging
from just under 10 minutes to 20 minutes, and focus on important safety practices. The
safety vignettes, often complimented with Safety Briefings Booklets on the same topic, are
an economical and popular resource for safety professionals who want to present and
emphasize safe practices on different topics during safety meetings.
A SCWNE member benefit provides for the borrowing of safety videos "free of charge."

SCWNE advises employers to be careful of relying solely on "packaged" training programs in
meeting mandated training requirements (i.e., FDA, MSHA, OSHA, etc.). Safety, Health & Environmental training involves presenting material to individuals who may not have had
prior experience. Having a qualified instructor present to answer any questions,
review handouts with participants, and provide hands-on experience where warranted will
help meet minimum training requirements. Interactive and/or hands-on training is
desirable to effective learning.
