The World Congress on Safety and Health at Work will be held September 18-22,
2005. Registration

Resolve to be ready in 2005
This year, as part of its successful Ready campaign, the U.S. Department of
Homeland Security is encouraging citizens to make a New Year’s resolution
that is easy to keep – creating
their own family emergency plan (.doc, 89 KB). It can benefit not only
the person who makes the resolution, but also his or her entire family.
Top 10 OSHA violations in Safety+Health
Safety+Health magazine has once again published the Top
10 OSHA violations for the past year (.pdf, 176 KB), and also details
the top 10 fines levied by the agency. Scaffolding tops the list with 8,682
violations.
